105 Civil Undertakings to Realized at the end of this year

On the regular press conference of Guangzhou Commission for Discipline Inspection(GCDI) on Aug. 20th, details were released on 2013 Promotion of Incorruption of Public Service 100 Undertakings, and 105 projects like electronic mapping of Guangzhou parking lots would be the responsibility of ten departments.

By examining ten departments which have close bearing on people's living, GCDI set and formulated a series of documents, like "Implementation Opinions on Public Service Incorruption 2013", and "Notice on Eight Actions to Implement Public Service Incorruption". The ten departments were committed to finishing these undertakings before the end of this year. The ten departments are Guangzhou Health Bureau, Guangzhou Bureau of Land and House Administration, Guangzhou Communications Commission, Guangzhou Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Guangzhou Education Bureau, Guangzhou Environmental Protection Bureau, Guangzhou Administration of Culture, Press, Publication, Radio and Television, Guangzhou Water Affairs Bureau, Guangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau and Guangzhou Administration Service Center.

According to Mr. Mei Heqing, spokesman and member of standing committee of GCDI, there are 29 projects benefiting people's livelihood, and 32 projects directly serving the whole population. Measures are taken to address 23 concerns of people's livelihood issues, and ensure 21 projects to secure the implementation. The areas covered include air, transportation, land and water environment, birth and death, education, health and funeral. "Most of the 105 undertakings are going on smoothly, and they will complete by the end of this year."
